The Lickfolds of Winnipeg

In "Aunt Sarah' s History", she said that Alfred Lickfold (my grandfather's brother), had married in Winnipeg. Nothing more was known of him and we assumed that he had not fathered any more Lickfolds. We should have known better.
A few years ago, I had an E-mail from a somewhat irate person who asked what right I had to use the name Lickfold in my E-mail address as it is a surname. I replied that I was quite aware that Lickfold is a surname as it has been my surname for many years. Thus began a correspondence with Vickie Lickfold Frazier, granddaughter of Alfred Lickfold and Agnes Shephard. Vickie told me that her family thought that they were the only Lickfolds in the world.
I visited with Vickie and her family in San Diego and found that Alfred and Agnes had two children, Through Vickie, we have connected with the Lickfolds of Winnipeg.
